Per Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel, Jameer Nelson sat out Thursday’s practice.

Orlando Magic point guard Jameer Nelson sat out the team’s practice Thursday afternoon because his surgically repaired left knee swelled a bit following Wednesday night’s game win over the Indiana Pacers.

Nelson said he was getting some “routine” rest and added that he’ll play Friday night against the Sacramento Kings.

“It was just a routine day off,” Nelson said. “Nothing to worry about.”

This is nothing to worry about and probably a good idea considering Orlando will face another back-to-back when they host Sacramento Friday and travel to Charlotte to play the Bobcats Saturday.
