The Sporting News is reporting the Orlando Magic will be squaring off with the Miami Heat at the brand new Amway Center on opening night.
The NBA won’t release its 2010-11 schedule until Tuesday, but the Orlando Magic are expected to open the NBA regular season in their new arena against Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and the Miami Heat, Don Muret of SportsBusiness Journal reports.
There have been other reports, including this tweet from John Hollinger, so we’ll have to wait until tomorrow when the schedule is officially released to find out how accurate this report was.
