Dwight Howard is doubtful for Friday night’s game because he has a stomach flu that has been going around the team. J.J. Redick missed Wednesday’s game to because of the flu and Mickael Pietrus was unable to finish for the same reason.

Stan Van Gundy said Howard was “very, very ill this morning, throwing up and everything.” The coach said Howard is “very doubtful” for tonight’s game.

“Barring a miracle, I would think that he’d have trouble playing tonight from what [athletic trainer] Keon [Weise] told me about where he was this morning,” Van Gundy said.

Jameer Nelson is also sick and his status is up in the air.

Marcin Gortat will start at Center while Chris Duhon is ready to step into the starting lineup if Nelson can’t go.
