The NBA released the 2011-12 schedule Tuesday.
The season will kickoff with three games on Tuesday, November 1 – Chicago @ Dallas, Houston @ Utah, and Oklahoma City @ the Los Angeles Lakers.
Should a new CBA be reached in time, the Magic would kick off their season at home against the Charlotte Bobcats the following day. Just like last season, they’d be in Miami to face LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and the Heat the next day.
The Magic will not host the Boston Celtics this Christmas. Instead, the Celtics will be in New York to play the Knicks.
The Magic will make a trip across the pond when they play the New Jersey Nets at the O2 Arena in London on March 7 and 8. Those games are both 3:00 pm EST tip-offs and will be shown on NBA TV.
Their first west coast road trip comes early – they’ll see the Nuggets, Jazz, Suns, Lakers and Thunder from December 5 – December 14.
Orlando will have 20 games shown on ESPN, ABC, TNT or NBA TV.
