Jason Richardson Has A Sprained Left Ankle

As mentioned earlier, Orlando Magic guard Jason Richardson and Jameer Nelson collided with just over two minutes left in the fourth quarter, forcing Richardson out for the rest of the game.

Richardson, who appeared to be in a lot of pain, was diagnosed with a sprained left ankle.

Dan Savage of OrlandoMagic.com reported the injury in his recap:

And finally, there was the balanced attack. Magic shooting guard Jason Richardson fired off 18 points, before leaving late in the fourth quarter with a sprained left ankle.

Richardson finished 18 points in 31 minutes during Orlando’s victory over the Chicago Bulls Thursday night.

Orlando has two days before hosting the Indiana Pacers Sunday night.
