Dwight Howard, who has pushed aside most of the talk about his future and the trade deadline throughout the season, told a large group of collected media that he’d like to remain with the Magic for the rest of the season.
Howard said he’s been talking to Magic officials for the last two-to-three weeks, telling them of his desire to stay for the remainder of the season.
“I think we have a great chance to surprise a lot of people,” Howard told reporters.
Howard said he hadn’t made up his mind about where he’d play the 2012-13 season and let it be known the Magic would have to “roll the dice.”
