Glen Davis Out, Daniel Orton To Start At Center

David Richard-US PRESSWIRE

Per Paul Kennedy of Fox Sports, Glen Davis will miss Monday night’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers and second-year Center Daniel Orton will start in his place:

Orton scored 11 points, recorded five steals grabbed four rebounds and blocked three shots while filling in for Davis (who was, of course, filling in Dwight Howard) in Sunday’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Davis left the game after banging knees with Cleveland’s Samardo Samuels. Davis called his injury a hyperextended knee while Magic officials called the injury a sprained right knee.
