Glen Davis left Orlando’s 102-95 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats after playing just under nine minutes. Magic officials later informed the media Davis had a sprained right ankle and his return to the game was doubtful.
Davis never returned to the game.
When asked by Brian Serra what went through his head when Davis went down, Magic Head Coach Stan Van Gundy gave an excellent response.
“I’ve been told by my wife to stop swearing in my press conferences so I can’t say what went through my mind,” Van Gundy said with a laugh.
Davis will likely miss Thursday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Jason Richardson left the game in the fourth quarter with what appeared to be an ankle injury, but he told reporters he was simply kicked in the shin.
