Dwight Howard Has Spoken With Stan Van Gundy, Teammates

Steve Mitchell-US PRESSWIRE

Per TMZ, who has video of Dwight Howard, Howard has spoken with Magic management, his teammates and Magic Head Coach Stan Van Gundy during the team’s playoff run.

Howard said he was “sad” and he felt like he was “in jail” because he can’t be there for his teammates.

Clearly, Howard’s talks with Van Gundy may come as a surprise after Van Gundy said he was told Howard asked Van Gundy be fired as Magic head coach.

I don’t know what to think about all the sordid relationships going on within the Magic organization. I think a clean break by Howard might be a good idea unless he freakin grows up. We could package him and his little buddy up and go shopping for a true PG and maybe Fran Vasquez. I guess this drama is going to continue into the off-season. #1 on the list should be to get Dwight to sign that 4 yr extension. I can’t think past that and I bet Otis can’t either.
