Everyone knows the Magic must make decisions regarding the futures of Center Dwight Howard, Head Coach Stan Van Gundy and General Manager Otis Smith, but Jameer Nelson, J.J. Redick and Von Wafer can also become free agents and Ryan Anderson will become a restricted free agent.
We’ll start with Van Gundy. At the conclusion of Orlando’s 105-87 season-ending loss to the Indiana Pacers, Van Gundy told the collected media he’d “love to come back” to Orlando and “as for the speculation, I don’t give a damn.” It continues to look as though Van Gundy will not return next season.
According to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel, Nelson hasn’t made up his mind.
Jameer Nelson said after the #Magic were eliminated that he hasn’t decided what he’ll do with his player option.

As we’ve state before, sources have informed Howard the Dunk Nelson is going to opt out of his contract.
Regarding Dwight Howard, Dave Baumann of Brighthouse Sports, talked to Magic CEO Alex Martins, who made an interesting comment.

Honestly, this is how Martins should handle this situation. With all the Magic have been through over the last season, if Howard won’t sign long term, they have to deal him.
Charlotte has not yet asked Orlando for permission to speak with Ewing and is not likely to do so until the Magic are eliminated from the playoffs, according to the sources.
Ewing has been an NBA assistant coach for eight seasons, and has spent the last five seasons working with Stan Van Gundy and the Magic.
