The Magic Are Interested In Tom Penn

Per Ken Berger of CBS Sports, the Magic have shown interest in Tom Penn.

There’s a sixth name on the Orlando Magic’s list of general manager candidates: former Portland Trail Blazers executive Tom Penn, three league sources told CBSSports.com.

Penn, formally an executive for the Portland Trail Blazers, worked under fellow potential Magic General Manager and current Indiana Pacers assistant General Manager Kevin Pritchard as the Vice President of Basketball Operations. Both were fired in 2010.

Penn is currently an analyst for ESPN.

Back in December, Penn talked to the Orlando Sentinel about how to proceed after Dwight Howard asked for a trade. You can read that interview here.
