Another potential suitor has emerged in the chase for Dwight Howard - the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Clippers have become a “real and viable suitor” according to Hoops World.
Per ProBasketballdraft, the Clippers may be looking to move DeAndre Jordan, Eric Bledsoe and Caron Butler, but that doesn’t seem like nearly enough for Howard. Jordan has three years and just under $33 million left on his deal and doesn’t exactly put up huge numbers (7.4 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game last season). However, Jordan is just 23 years old. Butler still has two years and $16 million left and is 32 years old. Bledsoe is in intriguing prospect, but you’d have to assume the Magic would want Blake Griffin back in any deal involving Howard.
