Per Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee, Magic forward Ryan Anderson visited with the Sacramento Kings Monday.
Anderson had lunch with team officials and and visited Sacramento’s practice facility. Anderson went to nearby Oak Ridge High School and even played on the Kings’ home floor. He also attended California.
Anderson would probably be a good fit with the Kings playing next to DeMarcus Cousins.
If Anderson does indeed decide he wants to play for his hometown team, July 11 is the first day he could sign an offer sheet. The Magic would then have three days to make a decision on whether or not to match the offer.
Anderson, who was named the NBA’s Most Improved Player, averaged 16.1 points and 7.7 rebounds per game last season.
