Magic, Nets & Cavaliers Close To A Deal?

by Orlando Magic

Jeff Griffith-US PRESSWIRE

Dwight Howard may finally get his wish. According to our buddy Alex Kennedy of Hoops World, The Orlando Magic, Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers are close to completing a deal that would send Dwight Howard to Brooklyn.

Kennedy, citing “sources close to the situation,” says the deal would involve 11 different players and several draft picks.

Power forward Kris Humphries would be signed and dealt to Cleveland.

According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN, the Magic aren’t interested in soon-to-be second year swingman MarShon Brooks, which comes as a surprise.

Kennedy says the Magic will meet Monday morning before making any final decision.

The Magic are still in talks with both the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers.

Update: Adrian Wojnarowski says the “Nets are finding traction beyond third-team involvement of Cleveland to find a landing spot for Kris Humphries” and no deal is imminent.
