Report: Dwight Howard Tells Rob Hennigan He Still Wants Out

Douglas Jones-US PRESSWIRE

Although it is seemingly impossible for Dwight Howard to be dealt to the Brooklyn Nets before January (and that looks unlikely), Dwight Howard continues to tell the Orlando Magic front office he does not want to return.

According to ESPN’s Ric Bucher, Magic general manager Rob Hennigan called Howard Wednesday night and asked him to stay with the Magic, but Howard wasn’t having it.

Bucher’s source said Hennigan “based his plea on the fact that he was new to the organization and had not been party to the issues that drove Howard to make his trade request.”

Get over yourself Dwight Howard. Learn how to shoot free throws and stop holding the ball and generally being indecisive in the low post on offense (too many of your possessions end up getting stripped or leading to bad passes).  These are still your weaknesses and until you make progress on these two fronts, how dare you. Besides, you’re the one who opted in, remember.

Until you become a beast on offense and dominate, you can’t complain about being in Orlando so do your Orlando fans right. Furthermore, you’ve been missing in action – who’s to say what kind of physical condition you are in after back surgery. Suck it up, big dude!
