According to David Aldridge of NBA.com, the Orlando Magic and Houston Rockets aren’t nearly as close to a Dwight Howard deal as earlier reports indicated.
In fact, a source told Aldridge the two teams are “not active” and “there’s nothing happening.”
Of course, Houston has tendered offers to point guard Jeremy Lin and center Omer Asik. If the Knicks and Bulls chose not to match these offers, that could make things difficult.
