Despite constant talks, the Los Angeles Lakers have been hesitant to acquire Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard, fearing he might just walk when the 2012-13 season comes to an end.
That apparently isn’t the case any more. According to RealGM, Howard says he will re-sign with the Lakers next summer.
There has been a lot of talk about the Magic and Houston Rockets making a deal for Howard. Some reports have Houston netting Lakers center Andrew Bynum while the Lakers acquire Howard. Others say Cleveland is in the mix to acquire Bynum in a three-way deal.
