Tuesday it was reported Orlando Magic general manager Rob Hennigan and his staff would be flying to Los Angeles to meet with center Dwight Howard in another attempt to convince him to change his mind and remain with the Magic long term.
According to Alex Kennedy of Hoops World, that meeting happened Wednesday.
Changing Howard’s mind is clearly a long shot, but there is no rush to trade Howard, so why not take another shot at keeping him? Despite this mess he and the Magic have gone through, he’s still the league’s best center and one of the three or four best players in the game.
