Dwight Howard Traded To Lakers In Four Team Deal


After nearly a year of speculation, the Orlando Magic have finally traded center Dwight Howard.

The deal involves the Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets and Philadelphia 76ers.

According to Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski, he Orlando Magic will acquire Denver Nuggets guard Arron Afflalo and veteran forward Al Harrington, Philadelphia 76ers center Nikola Vucevic and rookie wing Maurice “Moe” Harkless. According to Alex Kennedy of Hoops World, the Magic will also acquire Christian Eyenga.

Marc J. Spears, also of Yahoo, says Chris Duhon and Earl Clark are also on their way to New York.

Dwight Howard and Jason Richardson will be heading to Los Angeles.

Philadelphia will acquire All-Star center Andrew Bynum while Denver nets Sixers forward Andre Iguodala.

    Terrible deal for the Magic. Just terrible. I mean if the draft picks were going to be good this might be a good start to rebuilding, but a Lakers superteam pick, a philly with Bynum pick, and a Denver pick? If we’re lucky ONE will be a high lottery pick. If we’re lucky.
