Orlando Magic: Tobias Harris could be out for a while

It looks as if Tobias Harris will be sidelined much longer than first anticipated. Magic beat writer John Denton tweeted that Harris could still be WEEKS AWAY from seeing any game action.

Harris last played on October 20th in a preseason game against the Detroit Pistons where he appeared to roll his ankle late in the third quarter. He left the game and immediately went to the locker room. The Magic staff never explained how severely Harris sprained his ankle, but apparently it’s pretty bad. If it’s been almost two weeks and he still has yet to have even practiced with the team, then it’s likely that Harris suffered a high-grade ankle sprain.

It’s certainly a setback for Harris to miss this much time at the beginning of the season. The only silver lining is that Andrew Nicholson will continue to get 20-30 minutes a game in his absence.
