Orlando Magic Injury Update

Orlando Magic guard Arron Afflalo will return to the starting lineup for the Orlando Magic tonight against the Sacramento Kings.

Magic head coach Jacque Vaughn confirmed Afflalo would play tonight. However, the Magic will not be at full strength.

Afflalo leads the Magic in scoring averaging 21.1 points per game and was forced to miss Wednesday’s game against the Utah Jazz. The Magic offense struggled mightily without its leading scorer, losing to the Jazz 86-82.

However, the Magic will be without a solid bench contributor in E’Twaun Moore. The guard will miss the game due to a thigh contusion.

The absence of Moore could mean some significant playing time for 2nd year guard Doron Lamb. Without Moore, the Magic lack scoring off the bench with only  Andrew Nicholson providing any sort of offensive spark. Lamb is a solid 3-point shooter and ball handler.

The Orlando Magic will host the Sacramento Kings tonight. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
