The most notable of the group of players the Magic have coming in are clearly the four at the top of the chart. Stauskas, McDermott, Harris and McDaniels are all expected to be first round selections, with Stauskas, McDermott and Harris as possibly lottery selections. They would all bring an interesting dynamic to Orlando, and fill out needs that the team has.

As for the remaining group, they’re all projected to either be second round picks, or go undrafted. While the Magic don’t have a second round pick currently, it would appear as though general manager Rob Hennigan could be looking to acquire one, based on the amount of potential second round picks the team has worked out.

If these players were to go undrafred, it’s likely the team could look at some of them to fill out their Summer League roster. On Tuesday, it was reported the team worked out a group of seven, most of which are current or former NBA D-League players.

The Magic are clearly doing their homework for this draft, one which could dictate if the franchise takes the next step forward with their rebuild.

The draft is on Thursday, June 26th, and can be seen on ESPN.
