Hopefully everyone found a way to get through the always tough Monday, because a new day is upon us.
Yesterday, we looked at a trio of stories regarding various things with the Magic and a former Magic fan favorite who’s really come into his own over time. What does today have in store? Let’s find out.
First, we go back to OrlandoMagicDaily and check back in with our friend Phillip Rossman-Reich who took a look at the Magic’s inaugural team and how they still share a special bond.
The lasting legacy of that initial team was not just the exciting style of play and effort the Magic put on the floor. It was the way a growing Orlando community took to being on the big stage, selling out the old Orlando Arena for an 18-win team and bringing energy and passion to each game.
Legends that were here for those early years talked continually about how the community embraced the team and, honestly, how surprised they were at the passion and enthusiasm in which they did.
At MagicBasketballOnline, Adam Papageorgiou took a look at one Reddit users re-designs of the Magic’s logo and court. Some of which are very interesting.
Our friends at HoopsHabit took some time to look at the Magic and a player who could be poised for a breakout season. Of course, it’s hard to say with so many great choices.
Finally, at TrueHoops MagicBasketball.net, Eddy Rivera and crew took some time to celebrate Jameer Nelson, what he meant to the organization, the end of an era and took a look at Jameer’s lone All-Star season. A lot of great things from everyone over there, and I highly suggest reading it all if you get a chance.
That does it for today’s edition of Orlando Magic Today. Remember to continue to check back with us every day for up-to-the-minute coverage of the Magic and some of the hottest #hottakes you’re going to find.
