Man United target Sanches confirms he wants to leave

Renato Sanches could depart Bayern Munich this summer, Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed.

The youngster attracted interest from a number of top clubs, including Manchester United, but he snubbed a move to Old Trafford in favour of joining Bayern last summer.

"There is no way".

"I'm young and I have to play a lot. We have to make a decision", said Ancelotti when quizzed about Sanches' future.

Sanches joined Bayern from Benfica last summer for around £27million.

"At this time, he's training with us".

"I know there are rumours but it's normal".

Bernat landed awkwardly in the 4-0 defeat to I Rossoneri after competing for a high ball with Milan loanee Franck Kessie and immediately signalled to the bench that he needed to come off.

Arsenal broke their club record to sign Alexandre Lacazette for £52.7m while Manchester City's spending has gone beyond the £200m mark with the signing of the world's most expensive defender Benjamin Mendy (£52m) yesterday.

However, Ancelotti acknowledged that Portugal worldwide Sanches could yet move on. "Vidal will 100 percent stay with us".

Bayern president Uli Hoeness has said Sanches deserves another year to make the breakthrough at the Bundesliga champions.

Ancelotti coached the 24-year-old Spain worldwide at Real in 2013 and 2014.

Sanches can play in either the deep-lying midfield role, from where he can dictate the tempo of the game, or a more orthodox central midfield position, where he can perform the box-to-box role with distinction.

Bernat was sent home from China for treatment after head coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed the player would miss the remainder of their pre-season tour.
