A new "Sports" tab has also been added to the Apple TV app, so fans can see the teams, leagues and sporting events now playing or coming up soon, along with the time remaining and current scores.

Discover officially announced its relationship on Tuesday, soon after Apple Pay Cash officially went live in the U.S. The Apple users can even ask Siri to make a payment. They can also use it as payment in stores which accept Apple Pay.

With the sudden release of iOS 11.2 because of an unexpected date bug that plagued iOS devices recently, Apple has also begun rolling out Apple Pay Cash to U.S. users.

Although the product is rolled out as a person to person solution, I have to imagine that Apple is just fine having users store their money with them (though their bank partner GoBank) and then use those balances to shop with their app. They can view their Apple Pay Cash transaction history in the Wallet app. There you can access the Apple Pay icon.

The feature, which initially came to iPhones in the company's iOS 11.2 update, is now available for users of the smartwatch in both the Wallet app and Messages app. After that, users can tap "Send" and confirm the payment using Touch ID or Face ID. Apple Pay, of course, has been available from the original Watch back in 2015, before receiving a wider rollout over the past couple of years. However, a three percent fee is applied when sending money using a credit card. Is Apple Pay Cash a Venmo killer, though?

Now a U.S. exclusive, there's no timeframe for the eventual global rollout. You can not add more than $10,000 over a 7-day period.

Users who want to add funds from a debit card or prepaid card can add a minimum of $10 on the Apple Pay Cash card per transaction and a maximum of $3,000. More sports services will be added in future, Apple said.
