Bayonetta 3 announced, Bayonetta 1 and 2 coming to Switch

09 December 2017

Nintendo was involved in The Game Awards 2017 in a big way as the company announced a major new Nintendo Switch exclusive.

The critically acclaimed Bayonetta 2 game, originally a Wii U exclusive, will be launching for Nintendo Switch on February 16.

For Bayonetta 3 all we really have to go on is that it's coming exclusively to the Switch sometime in the future. Both are critically acclaimed action titles developed by Platinum Games.

The first two games of the series will arrive first to the hybrid console though, to allow fans of the Umbra Witch to relive the experience and to introduce the franchise to new players before Bayonetta 3 arrives. If you missed out on your chance to shoot up all manner of witchess, demons, and other mystical beings before, you can pick up the Bayonetta collection on the Nintendo Switch starting February 16, 2018. Bayonetta 2 comes on the game card, while Bayonetta is included as a digital download.

Bayonetta started out as a multi-platform release.

The previously online-only coop Tag Climax is going local!
