Honor to launch View 10 in India on Jan 8 (Second Lead)

The smartphone, which delivers full-screen viewing experience, will retail at AED 999.

The premium metal unibody design with the all-new 18:9 aspect ratio display with 2160x1080p pixels dense display and the dual rear-facing camera are the three main selling points of the Honor 7x. For the photography needs, the phone packs a dual camera setup on the back with 20MP and 16MP sensors as well as a 13MP selfie camera on the front.

It's also great to see the octa-core Kirin 970 processor carried over, as it is Huawei's latest chip and a powerful alternative to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 in most other high-end Android phones this year.

Honor 7X will debut in the Indian market on Thursday, December 7 through online retailer Amazon which is accepting pre-registration. Up front is an 8-megapixel snapper.

The device has premium build, and while is not exactly the same dimensions as either Huawei's Mate 10 or Mate 10 Pro shares numerous traits of the two. Moreover, we felt that there was no need for the Honor logo to be on the front of the phone, which makes it unattractive with the thin bezel. In terms of storage, the 4GB RAM variant comes with 64GB of storage and the 6GB RAM variant comes with 64GB / 128GB of storage.

Honor has launched two of its latest entries into the Honor family in London - The Honor 7X and Honor View 10.

The Honor 7X runs Android Nougat 7.0 with Huawei's own EMUI 5.1 customisation on top.

Honor is making a big focus on budget devices at present and it looks like the Honor 7X might end up being the favourite budget phone of the year.

The Honor View 10 uses USB Type-C for charging and supports NFC.

The dual camera setup at the rear consists of a 16MP primary sensor paired with a secondary 2MP sensor, the sole job of which is the capture of depth data.

Honor also announced its Structured Light and Sync Play technologies which enhance facial recognition and music playback respectively.

Honor is offering the View10 in Navy Blue and Midnight Black hues.

"Additionally, Honor is immensely proud of the quality control it undertakes in producing every phone". There's still a 3.5-millimeter headphone jack, as well as a microSD slot for expandable storage up to 256GB. Powering the Honour 7X is a massive 3340 mAh (typical) battery.

One nice touch is the arrival of "Supercharge", which will charge the battery to 50 per cent in 30 minutes. In those territories, it'll start at €499/£449.
