More Trump allegations after report lawyer paid porn star

U.S. President Donald Trump paid a former adult film star $130,000 so that she keeps quiet about a short-lived affair the two had in 2006, the Wall Street Journal claimed in a report released Friday.

Lawyer Michael Cohen, who was a top lawyer at the Trump Organization for years and remains a personal attorney for Trump, negotiated the nondisclosure agreement in October 2016, a month before the 2016 election, the Journal reported.

Clifford appeared in 150 porn films, the Journal reported, and had a relationship with Trump when she was 27. Trump married his current wife Melania Trump in 2005, so if these allegations are true Trump cheated on his wife.

The president has denied ever having a sexual relationship with Clifford and the White House claims the story is nothing more than "old, recycled reports".

In an added bit of irony, Clifford has also denied having sexual relations with Donald Trump, as shown in a written statement from Cohen that called hush money payments "completely false". The payment was reportedly received through her lawyer's client-trust account.

The reported payment to Clifford would also not be the first time that Trump has settled out of court with a woman in relation to allegations of sexual impropriety. A popular and successful adult film star, Daniels retired from the screen in 2016.

Davidson told the Journal that she previously represented Clifford and declined to comment on the reports, citing "attorney-client privilege". In the tape, Trump said he could grab women "by the p-". The official did not comment on reports of a settlement being paid out.

The alleged sexual encounter was consensual - but no less than 16 other women have alleged that Trump sexually assaulted them, with Trump settling out of court with one of them, Jill Harth, in 1992.

"I recently became aware that certain news outlets are alleging that I had a sexual and/or romantic affair with Donald Trump many, many, many years ago", Clifford writes in the letter, which Cohen provided to news outlets, including The Daily Caller. The statement, to repeat, was emailed by Cohen.

It was not confirmed whether the president was aware of an agreement with Ms. Clifford or payment that was provided to her. At the time, she said she was a Republican.
