In just a few days, Motorola will hold an event in Sao Paulo where the company is expected to unveil the Moto G6 series. As we near the unveiling of the devices, these models are emerging in numerous leaks. While we exclusively leaked the design of all the phones in the series - Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and Moto G6 Play - weeks ahead of the official launch, we have spotted one of the phones in Geekbench's listing. In the camera department, the smartphone is likely to feature the same dual-lens camera setup as the Moto G6.
The Moto G6 Play, being the most affordable, skips the secondary camera on the back.
Though there is no mention of the camera MP count, reliable reports have indicated that the Moto G6 will come with dual 12MP + 5MP primary camera setup and a 16MP front-facing camera. As per the leaked images, the Moto G6 Play will feature a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 1440 x 720-pixel resolution and a 2.5D curved glass protection. Starting with the G6, which will be available in indigo, silver, black and rose gold according to the renders. The renders show off all three phones - the Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play - in various color options. However, the side bezels aren't the thinnest in the industry.
The information that surfaced online late last month put the Moto G6 Plus with Snapdragon 630 SoC, however, the Geekbench listing of this smartphone says that it has Snapdragon 660 under the hood. There is an 18:9 aspect ratio display and the identical looking rear camera design.
The sticker on the display reveals a little more about the Moto G6 Play including a 5.7-inch HD+ "Max Vision" display and a 1.4GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. Furthermore, the phone will likely get equipped with a 3200 mAh battery.
Moto G6 Play will be fueled by a 4,000mAh battery with Turbo Power fast charging technology. As per the report, the 32GB model was listed in Canada and the U.S. on Amazon but, once it got reported, the webpage was taken down from the website.
