BioWare Promises Anthem Will Cater to All Types of Players

At that debut, EA said it would launch Anthem in 2018.

In response, EA CFO and COO Blake Jorgensen noted that they are "being conservative" with it, but he did add that they are also "very excited" for it. Jorgensen also shared that the game will be shipped in the last quarter of the fiscal year and within the last month of that quarter. "As we try new things, I hope that you'll come on the journey with us, and continue asking questions that will help shape Anthem into something we'll all love to play". EA has spent a bit hyping the game up, using words such as "genre-melding" and "massively, massively ambitious", and the company's latest Q4'18 earnings report does the same while revealing some interesting new tidbits.

Every dimension of this game will offer something entirely new for a wide audience of players-from a new universe with unique stories that BioWare is creating, to the cooperative gameplay, to the epic and attractive environment that constantly evolves around players.

Lastly, Hudson says that this vision will be part and parcel of all future BioWare games, including a forthcoming Dragon Age title.

Though the experience may seem like many MMO and MMO-type games we've seen in the past, EA promises something different out of Anthem. "What if I don't have friends that I play games with?"

According to Jorgensen, Anthem will release during the month of March, next year. Despite Bioware releasing some of the very best role playing games of the last generation, this one has been somewhat lackluster. Technical Director Brenon Holmes has also recently confirmed that Anthem graphics won't be a downgrade from the E3 2017 trailer, though it's unknown if the PS4 Pro and Xbox One variants of the game will feature significant enhancements beyond the other console editions. In it, he presents the new mission statement by which all games will be developed.

Information on Federation Internationale de Football Association 19 will be announced during EA Play in June. Beyond just individual games, we try to create entire worlds that players can really live in, which span many games and media, as well as fan-created work like art, fiction, and cosplay. "To accommodate that, we are moving the launch date for this project into FY19".
