Reuben Foster's accuser offers explosive testimony, says she lied about everything

Ennis, however, changed her story since the initial accusation to say that Foster actually didn't hit her and said that she was attacked by another woman. Two police officers and a motorist who gave Ennis his phone to call 911 took the stand Thursday.

Ennis replied "No sir", then broke down in tears. "I took more than money".

Foster pleaded not guilty to the charges on May 8. There is no official record of any false report of domestic violence.

Inman and Mercury News colleague Robert Solanga further reported that Ennis' claim against Foster was "an extortion ploy that got out of control".

"It was all a money scheme", Ennis said. "I do want to be very clear, abundantly clear, that if these charges are proven true, if Reuben indeed hit this young lady, he won't be a part of our organization going forward". "It was about money".

She sat in the Santa Clara County Superior Court courtroom on Thursday and admitted that she wanted to ruin Foster's career after he tried to break up with her, had previously spent time in jail for a similar situation, and would seek professional help.

"I was lying about a lot of stuff", she said. "I was pissed", Ennis said, via the San Jose Mercury News.

"I don't recall", Ennis repeatedly said when asked about what she told authorities.

Ennis admitted to getting into a road rage fight in San Francisco where she fought one or two women for 15 minutes on the side of a street. And she claims there's video to prove it. The prosecution said Ennis' testimony couldn't be trusted given inconsistencies throughout. Bentley suggested they weren't consistent with a 228-pound linebacker punching the petite Ennis with a closed fist, as Ennis initially told police.

"Im sorry", Ennis mentioned underneath cross-examination by Foster's lawyer.

According to Ennis, Foster was upset she got into a fight Saturday Feb. 10, hours before the incident in question.

Court officials in Baton Rouge, Louisiana confirmed to the Bay Area News Group on Thursday that Ennis was arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated assault November 4, 2011, but the charges were dismissed two years later.

Foster, entering his second season with the 49ers after being selected in the first round of the 2017 draft, has not been allowed to participate in the team's offseason program while the case is in progress.

There's also the matter of her injuries.

"Clearly, the issue here is which statement do you believe?"

After the February 11 incident at his home in Los Gatos, Foster was arraigned on felony charges of domestic violence, forcefully attempting to prevent a victim from reporting a crime and possessing an assault weapon.
