Honest, direct and productive meet with North Korean leader, says US President

The two world leaders signed an agreement committing the U.S.to unspecified security guarantees for North Korea in exchange for the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, but specific dates and expectations were not outlined.

The purchases are being finalized as Secretary of State Mike Pompeo claims that the US can achieve the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula in just two and a half years.

Lasting peace has obvious benefits for China, especially in bolstering the development of its rust-belt and landlocked northeast which borders North Korea and would suffer in the even of conflict.

The deal Trump made with North Korea could end up fundamentally changing the state of relations between the U.S. and North Korea, but many critics point out that it lacks a specific outline for how Pyongyang will denuclearize.

Japan has expressed concern, while South Korea said earlier it needed "to find out the exact meaning and intention of President Trump's remarks".

Trump has also claimed that North Korea is committed to "complete denuclearization" after a cordial meeting with Kim in Singapore.

The propaganda machine also focused on the leader's "rapid transformation" from dictator to statesman following the positive reception he received in Singapore when he arrived for the summit.

The women were arrested under the Public Order Act at 9.10pm on Monday at the junction of Tanglin Road and Nassim Road, near The St Regis Singapore hotel, where North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was staying.

Pompeo said on Wednesday that Trump "made it very clear that the condition precedent for the exercises not to proceed was productive, good-faith negotiations being ongoing".

Ri famously wept on air when announcing the death of North Korea's founder Kim Il Sung in 1994. -North Korea relations and to recover the remains of prisoners of war and military members missing in action.

But no rational and objective observer who followed the summit and saw Trump and Kim behaving so cordially can believe that Trump is leading the US into a nuclear war with North Korea.

"The great leader of our party, the nation, and military, Kim Jong Un, adopted a joint statement with the president of the United States".

The U.S. intelligence assessment of the nuclear and other military threat posed by North Korea to U.S. and allied forces in Asia and the northwest Pacific remained unchanged despite Trump and Moon's assertions about the North Korean nuclear threat being over, a senior U.S. official responsible for studying the North Korean military said.

"[It] needs to be clarified by the South Koreans and also by the White House, exactly what we mean".

"The document is short on details, "Schumer said". Trump at the time condemned the North Korean government and its lack of "basic human decency".

He also included a Trumpian jab, comparing US journalists to the state-run press in North Korea.

South Korea's Blue House offered cautious assent to Trump's controversial statement Wednesday that the US would halt "war games" on the Korean Peninsula, saying the suspension of joint military drills may be necessary to assist in denuclearization talks, according to Yonhap news agency.

But there was some skepticism about the summit's outcome "I'm afraid that many Japanese people are not so satisfied with the agreement. We have not spoken in depth about this topic between the three foreign ministers today", Kang said.

"Well, he is very talented", Mr Trump said.

But others said it's a great step forward for peace.
