‘Marvel’s Spider-Man’ Was Completely Snubbed At The Game Awards 2018

Developers and publishers have often used the awards show as an end of year foil to E3, revealing things that weren't quite ready to be shown at the gaming industry's summer event.

For a lot of people, it seems that the main draw of The Game Awards are the announcements that happen during the show. The Game Awards is going to be a great night, but there is going to be a ton to do online afterwards.

"Thursday during The Game Awards don't miss a Fortnite announcement and world premiere from Epic's Donald Mustard". The ceremony will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, but will be streamed on just about every platform possible. The ceremony will also be streamed on a number of other services around the globe.

The Game Awards was created in 2014 by media entrepreneur Geoff Keighley.

Looking for GOTY victor God of War?

To little surprise, Rockstar's epic Red Dead Redemption 2 did pretty well, considering it was tied for the most nominations with God of War this year. You can also get it at a decent price from Amazon, for $52.

The 2018 Game Awards is LIVE tonight starting at 6PM PT / 9PM ET. We know for sure Ancestors, the game from Assassin's Creed creator Patrice Désilets, will show new footage, as will BioWare's upcoming online shooter Anthem.
