Biggest OnePlus 7 reveal could happen on April 17, CEO teases

A "regular" OnePlus 7 could keep fans happy by offering most of the same features for a lower price. The last we heard about the handset was that alongside the OnePlus 7, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will be announcing a 5G capable OnePlus 7 Pro handset. However, for the first time in the company's history, it looks like there will be more than one variant of the phone.

According to the images shared by OnLeaks, the OnePlus 7 might end up being an upgraded version of the OnePlus 6T with 5G and could continue with the same waterdrop notch on the front for the selfie camera. With this being said, the above information is still based on rumours and no concrete information regarding the launch has been shared by OnePlus. According to a new leak, the real OnePlus 7 will probably look nearly exactly like the OnePlus 6T, and that other phone will be the OnePlus 7 Pro. Maybe that's the difference between the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro, also coinciding with the "Go Beyond Speed" moniker. Plus, all the insiders agree that the OnePlus 7 will implement this new pop-up camera. While the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones will be coming to all the markets, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G could be limited to the Western markets. It will also be equipped with Snapdragon 855, 8GB of RAM and storage of 128GB and up. There are still two cameras back there, allegedly featuring a 48MP primary sensor. Given these dimensions, it's unlikely that the phone will include a much larger battery than the 3,700mAh cell found in the OnePlus 6T. Similar to the OnePlus 6T, the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro could record 4K 60fps videos. While the standard variant comes with a front-facing selfie camera, the Pro variant sports pop-up selfie camera on the top.

You should take all this information with a pinch of salt, though, as nothing can be confirmed till these phones are actually launched next month.
